The Great Wall of Portieville

We're building a wall. Actually Dad is building the wall and we're helping.
Dad is taking our tower down and using the blocks to build our wall.
See how much help we're giving him?
Mom says to tell you that the wall is the first step in terracing the yard to save it from erosion.
She says that our feet running all over the place combined with Bailey digging trenches and the wind and rain are all making our yard slip down the hill.
Dad thinks that by building some walls going down the hill, the ground will stay where it's supposed to be and not move so much.
When he gets the wall finished, with our expert help, he says he'll build us another place to play even better than our tower.
Boy, building a wall is sure hard work.
We're going to need a nap after this.
