October 10 thru 16 is National Veterinary Technician Week.
We have some wonderful Vet Techs who help us.
They make appointments for us to see Dr B and sometimes squeeze us in fast when we get very sick or injured.
They help Dr B take care of us when we need special attention.
They greet us by name and that isn't always easy.
They're very gentle when they take our temperatures and pulse rates and super careful when they draw blood.
They write down everything Dr B says so there's a good record to look back at. And they fill our prescriptions and refills for us.
They demonstrate how to maintain good health in between visits.
They talk with Mom about schedules and look things up for her when her memory has a blip.
We don't know what we'd do without our Vet Techs and Mom says we can do something nice for them next week.
